The DYFED FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY exists to serve anyone interested in genealogy, heraldry, family history or local history in the three Welsh counties of Cardiganshire (Ceredigion), Carmarthenshire (Sir Gaerfyrddin) and Pembrokeshire (Sir Benfro).

At present we can accept mail orders for microfiches and CDs through the post but not on-line. Please see the page Publications

Our Journal Archive contains hundreds of articles about the people and places of Dyfed. The archive has a comprehensive index.

In the Members' Research Interests you may find a name that forms part of your research.

Dyfed Strays is an index to hundreds of people born in Dyfed but discovered elsewhere.

Select any of the three counties in the main menu to see an index of Places & Parishes within that county. For each parish there is a list of the churches, chapels and schools showing where their records may be found.

Also in the county menus are lists of all the places where records of interest to researchers may be found within that county.

Members of DYFED FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY receive a 4 monthly journal containing articles about the people and places in Dyfed. Our journal has a section in which members can ask for help with difficult research issues.
